The tournament season has begun, and congratulations to Scott Bell for his gold medal in veteran's men foil and Nolan for his 8th place finish in senior men at the Vango Summer Open.
Looking ahead, the Brock Open will be the target tournament for many of our competitive fencers on Nov 17-18. There are other tournaments appearing, and you should check the OFA website (upcoming events) or the posted list of tournaments in the fencing salle and on our calendar as they drop irregularly. Elite fencers should target both the Mustang Invitation and the Canada Cup.
A new tournament has dropped - the Vango Young Dragons - on Nov 24-25 and this will be a targeted event for the pre-elite group as there is a Y8 event in Toronto.
Competitive Fencers should consult, again, the OFA website for up to date information.
